Each week your team will play 9 holes for points toward the season long competition.
The pro shop will calculate handicaps and quotas on a weekly basis and will score the
event.
All scorecards must be returned to the pro shop after 9 holes for scoring purposes.
Please check-in each week and pick up your weekly scorecard that will have your
current quotas.
Play every Wednesday from May 17 to Sept 13th.
18 weeks of golf.
Gift Certificates for Season Long Team and Individual points.
Sign up as a team or a single or group. We will match up players to create teams of
5 if needed. Prefer if you can enter a team of 5.
Tee Times should be booked in advance to guarantee a spot between 4:00 and
6:30. Golfers may play 18 holes but only the first nine will count for the Men's
League. We will alternate Front and Back each week.
The more players that play each week for your team the more points you can
accumulate.
Handicaps:
Handicaps - Those who have a registered Handicap, send us the info. Either a screen
shot of the index or the site we can look it up. The first week’s handicaps must be
accurate to ensure fair play.
Handicaps - Those who do not have a handicap, you need to send us your last 5
scores at Lee Creek and the Tees you played. We will do the rest.
Handicaps - We will not chase down handicaps, if you do nothing you will start as a
Zero handicap. You can't just say "I am a 10."
Team name - Send us your odd or original team names.
Keep in mind during the season:
We allow 5somes for Men's League, but we do not allow slow play, 2 hours is the
maximum time allowed.
Gimmies are allowed, anything inside the metal on your putter will be considered a
gimmie. PICK IT UP.
If you have a putt for bogey and miss it. PICK IT UP.
If you hit two balls OB or in the water. You’re done. Time to pick up and cheer on
your team. (Down for a 6)
That is the beauty of this format, it’s not about taking strokes off and then figuring
out points.
If handicaps are somewhat accurate, a team score near 0 is a decent score. Some
guys will have bad nights, some good. Aggressive play is rewarded.
Point structure:
1 Point - Bogey
2 Points - Par
3 Points - Birdie
5 Points – Eagle
8 Points – Double Eagle/Ace

SCORING
Every player will be rewarded 1 point for participating each week.
The point format is called “The Quota”. Each player will have a quota or number of
points that they are expected to get based on their handicap. If you get 5 more
points than your quota you are +5 for the night. If you got 5 less than your
quota, then you are a -5 for the night.
Points are allocated per hole as follows: 0 points for Double Bogey or worse, 1 Point
Bogey, 2 Points Par, 3 Points Birdie, 5 Points Eagle, 8 Points Double Eagle/Ace.
If a player scores 2 or more points above their weekly quota, then 1 point will be
added to the next weeks quota. If they score 2 or more below, then the opposite
will occur. Up to a maximum of 2 points per week each way.
Example – Someone who has a quota of 10 points, and they score 14 points that
week will now have a quota of 12 points the following week. Vice versa the other
way. If a player with a quota of 10 points only acquires 6 that week will now have
a quota of 8 points the following week. Each week your quota can move a
maximum of two points either up or down based on your previous weeks point
accumulation. Every 2 points above or below your week’s quota will move your
following weeks quota by 1 up to a maximum of 2. (If you score 8 points above
your quota, you will only go up 2 the following week)
The score from each team will be the number of points they are above or below their
team quota. So, let’s say a team has a +5, +2, 0, -1, -2 as scores from their
players. So, for the week the team is a +4.
Points will be accumulated each week and at the end of the year the following prizes
will be awarded. Based on 40 players. Updated payouts will be posted after week 1
and when we know the number of participants this year.
1st Place Team - $150 G/C per player 1st Place Individual - $150
2nd Place Team - $100 G/C per player 2nd Place Individual - $100
3rd Place Team - $80 G/C per player 3rd Place Individual - $80
Prizes are paid out in Gift Certificates!
Gift Certificates are only valid for Pro-shop Merchandise (not green fees or Power
carts) **Prize amounts are based on 40 players. They will be
adjusted up or down depending on the numbers.
